UMW Holdings Bhd子公司UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd (UMWC)以2349万美元收购2个印度汽车零部件制造商，以加强该公司在汽车制造业务上能力。
其中UMW从MK Autocomponents Ltd (MKAL) 公司手中收购了其子公司Datuk Muthukumar Ayarpadde 51％股权；以及MK Automotive Industries Ltd (MKD)50%股权。
MKAL拥有Sathya Auto Private Ltd (SAPL) 和Castwel Autoparts Private Ltd (CAPL)。SAP主要生产机械千斤顶，水箱盖和钣金零部件，而CAPL则主要制造铝压铸件，铝合金，水泵。
MKD拥有Dongshin Motech Private Ltd (DMPL)50％的股份，DMPL主要给韩国整车制造商供货车身零部件。
UMW60％左右的销售来自其汽车业务。
